🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office!
As we celebrate our nation’s independence, we encourage everyone to stay safe, be responsible, and look out for one another.
Remember, fireworks are dangerous and can carry serious consequences. If you’re celebrating with alcohol, plan ahead and never drive under the influence.
Let’s make this a safe and memorable holiday for all.

Ventura County has filed 387 cases related to Proposition 36 from the date the measure took effect on Dec. 18 to June 18, District Attorney Erik Nasarenko said. The figure represents 5% of all misdemeanor and felony cases filed by the district attorney's office in that six-month period, he said.
